You have a calling, so what’s next?

If you’ve explored your calling and feel compelled to serve in the Church of Scotland then, before you consider entering training for ministry, your next step is to attend one of our three annual Vocations Information Days.

Conference provides you with opportunities to meet like-minded people and to learn more about the different ways you can serve.

To attend, first find out what to expect at the Information Days, and then complete our simple application form to arrange your place.

You can also register to attend a Local Vocations Information Days, which the Church runs from time to time and where you can explore your calling to serve God in roles such as full-time Ministry but also Youth Work, Readership, Diaconate and Eldership. Find out when our next Local Vocations Conference takes place and how to apply.

And if you’re not sure that you’re ready for training to become a minister, there are other options to explore, such as volunteering.
