If you’re between 18 and 25, why not volunteer for the Church of Scotland?

Our deadline for applying to join the 2017/18 Volunteering Vocations programme is 5pm, Friday 28 April 2017. We seek volunteers interested in ‘gap’ year project work based in our parishes whilst exploring if they’re called to further service in the Church. For further information and to start your application, contact Heather at vocation@churchofscotland.org.uk.

If you are aged 18 – 25 and interested in spending a ‘gap’ year serving in a parish and community on a voluntary basis, whilst exploring whether or not you are called to some sort of further service in the church, then Volunteering Vocations is for you!

Volunteering Vocations is a new gap year scheme for young people, where volunteers will live in community in shared accommodation, participating in a wide range of work in a congregation or project while growing their faith in a supported and reflective environment. Volunteers will be matched to a placement, and could serve in one of various locations in Scotland.

Download our Volunteering Vocations booklet to learn more about what to expect as one of our volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer with us, or would like further information, let us know by contacting Heather at vocation@churchofscotland.org.uk.

If you wish to be notified when our next Volunteering event is taking place, please email us at vocation@churchofscotland.org.uk.
